About the position of Service Operations Lead
What to expect of the Service Operations Lead position within Huisman?
Working as a Service Operations Lead at Huisman means that you are responsible for managing service operations activities for specific clients and meeting the agreed (technical) requirements. As Service Operations Lead, you take care of the client expectations by maximising uptime of Huisman equipment. With the support of a technical team, it is expected you can estimate what kind of problems a customer is facing and how to prioritize this. You take care of a direct follow-up, keeps the customer informed, makes sure for a good information transfer to Huisman disciplines as well as the Field Service Engineers. Optionally you can choose to perform on-site management on a global playfield for bigger service projects. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and, together with a full team of specialists, you will manage safety, financials, planning and technical execution on-site.

What do we expect of you?
- Determining and coordinating the scope of the service operation activities for a specific client or group of clients;
- Identifying, follow up and migrate risks or seeing opportunities to ensure on-time delivery;
- Being the first technical point of contact for the clients;
- Motivating the assigned teams;
- Acting as a supervisor of the Service Operations activities;
- Willing to travel to manage larger service project on-site is a plus.

You have:
- a technical or project management Bachelor degree or equivalent;
- relevant work experience in multidisciplinary, international
- technical projects in the maritime or offshore industry;
- experience in coaching and guiding teams;
- the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements, know how to prioritize and stay effective.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
- A practical disposition;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
