About the position of Senior Maintenance Technician
What to expect of the Maintenance Technician position within Huisman?
As a Cooperative Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a small maintenance team and will draw up long-term maintenance plans, prepare various multidisciplinary maintenance projects and manage other maintenance technicians in the company. You will ensure that the technical installations and tools on the Huisman site run smoothly and continuously. These installations are often a combination of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components. Think of quayside and overhead cranes, SPMTs, forklifts, cherry pickers, but also our Huisman Innovation Tower. You will also be involved in planning future maintenance and will assist in drawing up preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance coordinator.

Other tasks and responsibilities:
- Checking the necessary materials and tools for usability, completeness and safety (inspections); Administrative processing of work and malfunctions;
- Preparing the work to be carried out;
- Ensuring that the work is carried out safely and in accordance with the applicable regulations;
- Final inspection of the work carried out.
What do we expect of you?
As a Senior Maintenance Technician at Huisman, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of our advanced technical installations. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is technically skilled, proactive and safety conscious.

You are / have:
- MBO level of work and thinking;
- You are eager to learn and proactive;
- You value compliance and getting the job done;
- 5 years' relevant experience in a technical environment;
- Desirable: Full VCA, Forklift/Cherrypicker and working on height certificates;
- Desired: NEN-3140 qualified/competent person.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
