Communications Advisor

As a Communications Advisor, you advise on, initiate, manage and execute varying internal and external communication projects. As part of a small team, you will work closely with internal departments and external partners. You will safeguard the long-term strategy, positioning and visual identity of the company to ensure these are implemented consistently and efficiently in all our activities. You have a passion for communications, an excellent eye for detail, the skills to write clear and commercial text and you cannot wait to contribute to our brand promise ‘equipped for impact’.

Your work consists of:

• Translating relevant developments into communication plans and guidelines, in line with the company strategy;
• Initiating and managing internal and external communication projects;
• Engaging employees through transparent and regular internal communications, using existing and new communication tools and channels;
• Handling the daily requests of our internal clients worldwide.

You are:

• An all-round professional who enjoys a blend of strategical, tactical, and operational tasks;
• Result and client orientated;
• Structured and very accurate;
• Highly skilled in English and Dutch (your mother tongue) copywriting;
• Flexible and creative;
• At your best when working on multiple projects and deadlines;
• A team player with a good sense of humour, flair and an eye for detail.

You have:

• A Bachelor or Master degree in communications;
• Proven experience in developing and implementing internal and external communication projects;
• Experience (7+ years) in the field of internal and external communications in an international, preferably maritime or technical, organisation.

• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• A practical disposition;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
