About the position of Project Manager
We offer of a challenging position in an international organisation where innovation, quality, flexibility and creativity are key. As Project Manager you are responsible for all phases of the project, from the kick-off meeting to delivery to the customer and you maintain contact with our service organisation. The projects of Huisman are large and complex and can amount to more than fifty million euros. The scope of the projects entails engineering, supply chain, fabrication, installation and testing and commissioning.

What do we expect of you?
As a Project Manager within Huisman you are the final responsible for phased and structured project management of our large and complex multidisciplinary projects. This means that you are responsible for:
- Management of the contract;
- Management of planning, budget, quality and client relations;
- The fact that you are the first contact person for the client at all levels and for the entire project;
- Organising risk management sessions to manage (security) risks and identify opportunities to ensure timely, correct project deliverables;
- Timely provision of information about quality, scope, time, budget and customer satisfaction to all stakeholders;
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring that the team works according to the schedule and the authorisation matrix.
As a Project Manager you contribute to potential project innovations and you make a proactive contribution to the further development of our project implementation.

You have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a technical field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing EPCI projects within the heavy machinery, shipbuilding or offshore sectors;
- Knowledge of modern project management methods, tools and techniques, production techniques and technical drawings.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
